Rum Jungle Uranium Limited.

WOOLNER DOME

It is clear from the limited exploration carried out to date that the potential for uranium discovery at Woolner Dome is favourable.

The Woolner Dome is the third Archean aged granite complex that exists in the Top End that remains relatively unexplored compared to the other two complexes (i.e. The Rum Jungle complex and the Nanambu-Ranger complex). This is largely because of the Woolner Complex not being exposed at surface as it is covered by 50m of younger sediments and was only defined in 1980, just prior to the cessation of Uranium exploration in Australia.

The company had intended to conduct some drilling in 2007 but this was held up whilst extra airborne geophysical surveys were being completed prior to the wet season commencing in December. A series of new images and new exploration targets have been generated and some 2008 drill targets are depicted on the accompanying images.
